Nuestros Concejos y Lugares
Nuestro territorio está surcado de norte a sur por el río Ultzama.
El uso del suelo está dominado por bajo bosque y Pinares, hayedos y robledales, con praderas y pastizales en torno a sus concejos.
La población actual de Olaibar se sitúa en torno a 392 habitantes, distribuida en 5 pueblos y dos lugares: : Enderiz- Enderizt (129 habitantes), Olave-Olabe (135 ), Osacain-OsaKain (59), Olaiz-Olaitz (36), Zandio (19), El señorio de Beraiz y el Caserio de Osavide-Osabide (14).
Oláibar figuraba en la Edad Media bajo la denominación de Valle de Olave, siendo Olave la tradicional capital del mismo. Con el paso de los años, el valle terminó siendo conocido como Oláibar.
